F.A.Q.

What should I bring?

Depending on the location and the time of year this can vary. When you sign up for a specific retreat you will be given a more detailed list of what you should bring. We usually recommend you bring a good pair of walking shoes, a water resistant jacket, comfortable clothes for stretching in, cozy clothes for staying warm, a camera, and personal toiletries. We provide small journals and pencils, but if you have a favourite for sketching and writing in, we recommend you bring that also. And we always encourage you to bring a curious mind and an open heart.

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Our meals are designed and handmade using local and fresh ingredients. If you have special dietary restrictions we will try our best to accommodate them if you let us know prior to attending the retreat.

Is airfare and transportation included?

Airfare and transportation is not included. It is your responsibility to get to the retreat and we will provide the rest. We do, however provide transportation to the lodges and in some locations from the terminals.

Do I have to join all the activities?

We do require that you join all the workshops, but you are given the space to experience everything in a way that works for you, and share as much or as little as you choose. We provide guidance every step of the way and create a very comfortable and supportive atmosphere, and we also provide free time for quiet and solitude. We encourage you try new things and stretch your comfort zone, if it feels right for you.

What can I expect from a retreat?

You can expect to spend five days and four nights in an environment that encourages restoration and transformation. We bring together groups of 8 to 14 people, for gaining knowledge, sharing and mutually inspiring one another. We combine nature, spirituality, community, and craft to create experiences for personal growth, learning a hands on skill, forging long lasting bonds, discovering new perspectives, and accessing the healing powers of the earth. Each retreat experience varies and you can find more information to each one by clicking on the specific retreat here.

What can I expect in the workshops?

During the workshops you will be guided through individual reflection, journaling, and sharing within the group. This process allows you to go deeper, and listen to and trust your own voice. We guide you in getting past limiting beliefs and creating a vision and plan for your future.

During the craft workshops you will be instructed by a professional. We provide the materials, tools and knowledge for you to learn and develop a new hands on skill that you can continue to practice in your daily life.

What’s included in the price?

Included in the retreats is accommodation, all of your meals, workshops, lessons, and any materials or equipment needed during the retreat. We encourage you to have extra money if you’d like to buy local crafts and art, or to spend in the cafe or farmers market, if those visits are included in the retreat you choose.

Do you offer custom retreats?

We do offer retreats that are designed and curated experiences to your specific needs. This can be depending on the requirements and we approach this on a per case basis. We encourage you to get in touch with us here, so we can discuss arranging your ideal experience.

What happens if I cancel or need a refund?

We know spontaneous events can happen. If you need to cancel we will provide a 50% refund up to 60 days prior to the retreat and a 25% refund 30 days prior to the retreat.
