Mid – Winter Restorative Nature & Yoga Retreat
February 3rd – 4th 2018.
As the mid-Winter days grow longer, let’s take some time for ourselves to integrate the lessons of the season. Winter is a time to slow down, restore, and direct your energy inward. Allow nature to offer you the space needed to connect to your intuition, grow more present in every breath, and to fully honour yourself.
Give pause to your regular routine and join us for two days & one night in a beautiful wilderness setting that is also very accessible from the city. Spend time taking in the fresh air and beautiful surroundings, while gliding through the woods on cross country skis. You will have time for a guided individual reflection, journaling, and holding space for sharing within our circle of women. We will attune the body, mind, and spirit with meditation, breath work, and restorative yoga. While we enjoy nourishing and healthy, homemade meals together, we will have time to share stories and insights. Join our circle for a weekend of deep reflection & tuning in to yourself, to restore and strengthen your relationship to nature, and to spend time in the safe space of women in circle together.
Arrival on Saturday midday begins with a nourishing & healthy meal. In the afternoon, we will go for a cross country ski on the beautiful and well groomed trails. No experience required.
In the evening we take time for reflection & journaling, meditation & restorative yoga. We will share a home made supper together. Afterwards, you have free time to step outside to view the night sky in it’s full glory, or get cosy with a glass of wine by the fire. We will begin Sunday morning with a restorative meditation & yoga class before a nourishing breakfast, followed by our final closing circle and the option to go for a final cross-country ski after which, we will return to our homes, fully rejuvenated and inspired.
